You are adding new words to your vocabulary every day, you just aren't vocalizing them...yet. You are now grabbing our fingers and pointing to things; pictures in books, objects etc. When you are really insistent, you will swat our faces in the direction that you want us to look, very demanding! You can now point to zebra, elephant, giraffe, sun, moon, and lots of other new objects. When you and Daddy were at the zoo this week, he asked you what a lion says and you said "rrrr" You did it again for Mama at dinner last night after I got home from Harrisburg. If we put you on the spot, you clamp down and won't make any sounds. Your terms only.
Grandma bought you two new toys over the past few weeks, a Dirt Devil vacuum cleaner and a musical push toy. You zoom around the house with your new noise makers! You even "sweep" back and forth and under the furniture. You are really taken with trucks and cars now. You zoom them up and down our legs and over all the furniture.
You have grown out of all of your shoes! We had to buy you a new pair of sandals to get you through the summer, yours were just too small. You are now in 5 1/2s and you tried out your size 6 sneakers from Stride Rite today. Your legs are almost long enough to reach the foot rest on your stroller.
You love to eat fresh fruit! You gobble up raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, grapes, bananas and lots of others. You aren't a big fan of kiwi though. Your appetite is trying to keep up with you. Some days for lunch you will eat 4 pieces of ham or turkey, fruit, and yogurt!
Your laugh is infectious. Daddy loves to make you crack up. Usually it's hide and seek or tickling that does it.
You fill our lives with laughter and smiles, we love you so much!
